  • Environmental Management Permit (AMDAL/UKL-UPL) if required

  • Letter of Work Plan and Budget (for Contractors)

Steel Quota Issuance Process

The issuance of steel quota (钢铁配额) consists of the following stages:

  1. Data Collection – Gathering and verifying all required documents to ensure compliance.
  2. Steel Quota Application Submission – Filing an official request to the relevant authorities.
  3. Document Verification – Authorities review and assess the submitted documents.
  4. Presentation Meeting with the Ministry of Industry – Explanation of the steel quota needs, including justification for raw material or construction supply requirements.
  5. Issuance of Recommendation by the Ministry of Industry – The ministry grants approval based on compliance and industry needs.
  6. Steel Quota Issuance by the Ministry of Trade – Final allocation of steel import quota, allowing import activities to proceed.

Processing Time

The entire process of obtaining a steel quota takes approximately 2 to 3 months, depending on the completeness of the documents and the review process by the relevant ministries.
